I have to say trying to keep minimal exposure to everyday chemicals is quite the chore. It is one baby step at a time until you can finally feel like you are making a dent through the your illness. One of the basic things I use in my house is a big PUR water filter that sits by the sink and I fill up and filter as needed. I use it in all my pots when I am cooking and I wash all my fruits and veggies with this water. Saves on getting your whole house water filter. I would love to do that but it is expensive. You can also add filters to your showers and sinks. (I haven't gotten to that) (I am remembering one baby step at a time, right?) I use it for my pets as well.
