I wanted to mention a blog I love to read. Pinch of Salt has great recipes, and this time she has some links to some great pumpkin recipes. Fall recipes are always my favorite especially when they have fall squash, pumpkins or apples in them. I know here in the desert it is still 96 degrees but the evenings and mornings are cooling off. What a wonderful feeling when you take a early morning walk, look at the stars and feel the cool breeze on your skin.

Whenever we have a change of seasons I find that I am in my cleaning mode. I know I mentioned that I would be revamping my storage areas and garage. I am 1/2 way done. I have only done one area per week as I said so I don't make myself sick. I have been doing well. Making lots of donations to good will and the library along the way.
Last thing
Schoolhouse Rock. I watched this on Saturday mornings in Canada and always loved them :)I think that is why I came here with the belief of freedom and the pride felt by Americans.

Fall is my favourite season.
I can't help love fall. I grew up with fall fairs and harvesting. We had 3 apple trees that we use to get apples from with no pesticides ever used. My grand-parents next door had a huge garden. My grandmother always made fresh bread and canned and preserved vegetables and fruits from her garden. My mom also is a canner and still does. I have got to start soon :) Still working on the organization part. :)
Fall is indeed a beautiful season and I love how your site now complements the theme - it looks fantastic!
You might not believe it but we have seasons in Hawaii too! It just got chilly and rainy this week, we even had some fog roll in. We're doing some work in the yard this weekend in prep for the heavy rains. In a few months we'll even have snow atop Mauna Kea!
