Hope Everyone Had A Beautiful Thanksgiving

nFinally, our family seems on the mend from all the viruses running through our house. Jaclyn and Rhyanna were sick for about 3 weeks and Alex for about 1 1/2. I was starting to go stir crazy but I was lucky enough not to catch what they had this time. It must be from the mega Vitamin C doses I have been taking. Whatever it was that kept me healthy made it easier to look after the rest of them. Since they were up many a night, in the middle of the night, I didn't get much sleep.

Our week was centered around our family. What a great way to spend Thanksgiving. We started our holiday week with a trip to Phoenix and the Football Game at the Stadium. The Giants won which made it even better for all of us. We survived without too much symptoms from the area. Our section seemed pretty clear from the usual perfume and cologne emissions. The kids enjoyed eating all the stadium snacks and even spent much of the time cheering and watching the game instead of fighting with each other. I was surprised because we got there around 1pm and then we didn't leave till around 530pm. Even Jaclyn was cheering "GO GIANTS" the whole time. It was a great game and it ended with a trip to the Cheesecake Factory. Even there we were spared any perfume ambushes from new guest that sat down close to us. Twice in one day is almost unheard of.

The rest of the week came with news that I aced my last project and final exam. I really did enjoy this last course which showed on my papers. Now, I am just waiting for the okay to buy my books for the beginning of my Doctorate in Naturopathy. I think I will be doing some courses in Human Physiology, Digestion, History of Naturopathy, Philosophical Foundations of Naturopathy, Detoxification and Healing and
Iridology: An Introduction for starters but I will find out soon.

We didn't get to travel up to Alan's brothers for Thanksgiving because we are unable to stay at their house with our MCS. That was kind of sad but the kids enjoyed the Thanksgiving day we had here. I cooked it all and was only moderately not feeling well the next day. Friday was just a day of rest and relaxation. Yesterday we went to the Sonoran Desert Museum. The kids really enjoyed the hike around the loop looking for animals of the desert. They also enjoyed the trip through the mineral cave and searching for some cool rocks.

Ryan has been working very hard on finishing his novel for writing class. He is at 17000 words and I think he is very pleased with himself. I am very proud of him for working so hard on this assignment. The kids have been enjoying time with their hamsters and our kitty Merlin. Magi, our other kitty, is just getting too old to hang out with everyone so she just slepted in the cupboard in the laundry room. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving for the people in the who celebrate the day.

Congrats Anna on acing your exam and I am sure you will greatly enjoy your new courses! I don't think there really is anything more exciting than studying our bodies - it does after all allow us to understand ourselves better. This is especially true for how our bodies work, why and what we should do for them to be and stay in optimal health.
