Bobcat crossing my Path

Just wanted to share my first wild bobcat spotting this afternoon at my house. It was just a beautiful day when I looked out the kitchen window and saw a Bobcat crossing my path. He or she walked right past the livingroom window and up our driveway. Now, I finally got to see one in the wild and I am so blessed. Too bad I couldn't get to the camera quick enough. I missed a great shot. At least I know we have one around here and I shall keep my eyes open and my camera handy. Have a beautiful Monday :)

I love animals- all types! It really is a spiritual experience to see a hard to spot animal. It can be addicting too- just ask my bird-tour-leading-brother-in-law Rich. You can access his blog from my links. He lives in Tucsan, Arizona and leads bird tours for the company called Wings. He travels all over the world and gets paid to do it! He has expanded his range of expertise into the realms of butterflies, dragonflies, and plants and knows the scientific names of them as well. He uses his spotting scope to get excellent photos of these beautiful creatures and plants. He is single (gay) and is not tied down so he can be a free spirit. Very cool person.
