Hi Everyone,
I am so sorry I have not written before tonight. I have been so busy with school, and kids I haven't had much time for anything else. I miss reading all of your blogs. I will catch up. I was thinking about all the things I wanted to write about. Alan, Ryan and I all reacted to our mold/dust shots and our chemical drops this week, which sucks. We all need additional testing to see if our allergies worsened or got better. We have gone pretty whole grain and veggie and noticed that some of our MCS symptoms were at bay this weekend. YAY!!!
One important thing I wanted to bring up is how we respond to some plastics. We, as a family, don't use plastic unless necessary. Alan, at work, has to grab an Aquafina sometimes and noticed that his MCS symptoms always increased after drinking from that plastic bottle. I found out that when I drink from an Aquafina bottle my symptoms go up too. Go figure. I just wanted to tell in case of emergency that a store brand water does not increase our symptoms over the prestigious Aquafina brand. More expensive might mean more leeching from a the plastic containers. If in doubt use a glass.
Hope you all have a great week.

Hi Anna
Well I agree with you ig time on two things:
1) The whole grain/veggie diet has cured or alleviated many different symptoms for people and it is one of the best ways to give our systems a break from all the toxins they are inundated with each day, including toxins in processed food and meat.
2) Yay to no plastic!!!!
Although I do not suffer from anything we have removed all plastic bottles from our life almost 2 years ago and it is wonderful!
Despite what some companies say, plastic does leach chemicals into our food and water. #1 bottles are especially easy in breaking down and that is the main number used for all beverages out there right now. So yes I would definitely stay away from the Aquafina and all other plastic bottles too.
Good to see you back :)
Sometimes when I drink out of certain plastic bottles my throat starts to constrict, almost as if I'm getting a bad allergic reaction. I know that sounds really strange, but it is true.
hi Anna,
I agree about plastic.
If I'm out in public somewhere and absolutely have to buy water, I but water in glass bottles. often the only kind available in glass is carbonated 'mineral' water but I do much better with that than anything in plastic.
I hope things work out okay with getting shots/drops that don't cause reactions. Are the preservative-free shots and drops?
not to mention the incredible loaded amount of flouride they add! I keep telling my kids to stop buying the garbage at school (grrrr) and instead drink from the fountain. Or better yet, just bring their own! It's better to lug stainless steel than to carry any plastic containing water.
Hi Anna
I just got through reading your article regarding sensitivity to not just perfume but to also bottled water. I will keep this short and to the point. As you know there are toxins in all of our food chain. If you are drinking any kind of bottled water and feel not at your best after drinking bottled water there is a somewhat reliable tests that can be done fairly easy. As you know our bodies are always eliminating toxins. However believe it or not another way to see what toxins your body is releasing is through your shoes. Yes you read that correctly. Since most people sweat most on their feet the toxins are transferred to your shoes. The best example that I can give you is if you have a pair of sandals that you wear all the time with no socks I can easily do a toxin test and let you know exactly what toxins your body are releasing most of. If you're interested please feel free to leave a comment on your web site and we can contact each other.
All the best to you and your family. Mike
You are right about the plastic bottles they do cause much harm to the body. Excellent post!
